Evaluation Question 4 - How did you use media technologies in the construction, research & planning and evaluation stages?

Evaluation Question 3 - What have you learned from your audience feedback?

Evaluation Question 1 - In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products?

'Wolfpack' production logo

Here is the final Animated Production Logo for our Trailer 'Bloodline. We plan to use this Production Logo at the beginning of our trailer and therefore we will most likely cut the animation so that it starts around 0:06 seconds.

Sharing Footage

Here are two ways our group have managed to show and share filmed clips. We have used GoogleDrive and Dropbox to upload our filmed clips so that everyone in our group has access to them. Therefore, after a day of filming, we can quickly and easily share our content with each other. It is also useful as it allows us to have the clips with us everywhere we go (e.g: in school & at home) which helps with editing, we originally used dropbox at the beginning of our filming process, however we found that after a while Google Drive was a lot more useful to us as the upload time and download speed of clips was much faster than that of Dropbox.
Below are examples of our uploaded footage to GoogleDrive and Dropbox:

Location of Filming

Scene 1: Capturing main actor in a rural environment for the start of the trailer. This is our Unique selling point.

Scene 2: Urban subway for the violent, 'rushing scene'.

Scene 3: Running scenes (for montage shots).

Scene 4: Conversation scene.

Here is some screenshots of the construction of the Bloodline animated Logo and Release date that'll be used at the end of the trailer.

Music

After many hours of searching for royalty free music, our group came to the decision of using these two soundtracks. We choose these two soundtracks as from our research into other real media trailers, we found that a gradual strong beat built tension and enticed the audience. We also choose a much faster, intense Dubstep beat which was extremely necessary for the montage shots. Below is the music that will be used in the trailer.

Update Dialouge (Voice Over)

After nearing completion of our film trailer we are just trying to improve bits a pieces that we think make our trailer feel/look unprofessional and week, therefore we have made a brand new voice over with new dialogue, we may use this as a voice over or even as additional footage of conversation between characters.

Audience Research - Questionnaire

Here is the layout of the questionnaire, using survey monkey

Question 1

In this questionnaire, I decided to distribute it to a niche age group that related mostly to the genre. This will allow me to be more precise in the main target demographic and gain a greater understanding. From the people that responded, the majority of them were 16-20 years of age which is a specific age group that are interested in the Urban Drama genre.

Question 2

I decided to hand out my questionnaire to both male and female equally. I was interested to see if there was a differentiation between both the male and female opinions on Urban Dramas.

Question 3

This information gave me an insight to what type of urban drama is prefer by the demographic, as an Urban Drama film can fit into many different pockets. The information shows that the highest two answers were 'Gangster' and 'Other' which were both 33%. On the option 'Other' the audience responded with 'comedy' and 'realism', the two people that stated comedy were of female gender signifying that the target demographic is more male related.

Question 4

This data gives me many ideas on what to involve and base the trailer around as this is what the target audience think of when hearing the words 'Urban Drama'.

Question 5

Kidulthood was the most popular answer which reflects back to question 3 of the 'gangster' genre being most appealing to this small scale of people. From this information it is evident the gang type of story line is preferred in genres audience.

Question 6

These responses will definitely be taken into consideration when taking the pictures for my poster.

Question 7

The three most said colours were black, grey and red. I feel that these colours will definitely reflect an urban drama look and I shall use these colours in my magazine front cover to reflect this.

Question 8

Question 9

These are concepts that I will take into consideration when making the trailer.
